The Zaragoza City of Knowledge Foundation, in collaboration with the European Union through the EU Digital Deal project, presents Bits & Bots: Digital Imagery. Constructing Reality in a Generative World, an exhibition that invites reflection on how emerging technologies are redefining the concepts of truth, time, emotion, and reality.

The exhibition will be on view from May 8 to September 7 at the Centro de Historias in Zaragoza and features five installations by international artists who use artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, and generative art as tools to raise key questions about our digital present.

Through the works of Silvia Binda, Martyna Marciniak, Calin Segal, Zoran Srdić Janežič, and the British collective dmstfctn, the exhibition explores questions such as: How is a hoax constructed? What legitimizes information? How do the language models that power AI operate? Who decides how a technology is designed, and for what purpose?

The opening event will take place on Thursday, May 8 at 7:00 PM and will include the performance What is Time to a Computer? by Silvia Binda, a piece that contrasts the human perception of time with its computational representation.
