Decentralized collaborative platform
offDAC is an off-chain feminist Decentralized Artistic Community exploring the intersection of feminism, art, sound & technology. offDAC was founded by Silvia Binda in 2023 as an alternative model to traditional decentralised organizations (DAOs and DACs), which lack sufficient inclusivity to be the primary choice for decentralized community building.
The mission of offDAC is to educate, connect, share and explore topics related to art and technology, especially, though not exclusively, those connected to DIY electronics, creative coding, sound art and gender perspectives on technology.
The offDAC platfrom regularly hosts talks, discussions, lectures, workshops and listening sessions in various locations across Europe. Recent events include the REZONÉ quadrophonic listening session at A4 in Slovakia, the Reclaiming Technology Sessions at adaptér, Hungary, and the Open Hardware workshop at Baltan Laboratories, The Netherlands.
